Congratulations for downloading the INDTRAC QR App. This guide should help you to quickly get started.<\/p>\n

Login<\/h2>\n

If you have user id <\/strong> and password, go ahead and login.<\/p>\n

If you do not have userid, you need to register first. Use the Register link on the login screen <\/strong>(above) to register yourself.<\/p>\n

Registration<\/h2>\n

To work with INDTRAC, you must first register your site or use an already registered site. If the site is already registered,\u00a0register yourself with site pass key <\/strong> (The Site admin would share that with you). On the registration page (below), select Register as Site User <\/strong> and enter your details along with the site pass key.<\/p>\n

If you want to register the site yourself, select Register as Site Admin\u00a0 <\/strong>(see below).

\nEnter all the details and the page will guide you to complete your registration.<\/p>\n

On successful registration, you will get userid <\/strong> sent to your email. Use the userid and password you chose to login to Indtrac.<\/p>\n

Add your Assets<\/h2>\n

When you login for the first time, your site is empty. You need to register all your assets and generate QR Code for each of them. To be able to do that select Manage Asset tab <\/strong>(see below).<\/p>\n

Click Add New Asset <\/strong> to go to the next screen. Add all the details and submit to create a new asset.<\/p>\n

Note: You can add new fields for every asset in addition to the default fields available. That feature is available in the Admin tab. <\/i><\/p>\n

Generate QR Code Tag for the Asset<\/h3>\n

Now go back to previous screen and search for your asset. You should be able to see your newly added asset in the list. Select the asset. All buttons become active as is seen below.<\/p>\n

This is the main asset management page (above). You can access all asset management services for an asset from here. For example to generate a tag, click on Manage Tag<\/strong>. You are taken to the next page. Here you select tag size and press Generate<\/strong>. A unique QR tag will be generated for the selected asset.<\/p>\n

Once the QR Code is generated, you can select the code and press Save QR image <\/strong> to save it in your phone’s gallery. Print the image on any surface of your choice and fix it to the asset for which you generated the code.<\/p>\n

Updating Asset Location<\/h2>\n

Now that QR tag is fixed on the asset, you can start updating the location of the asset. To do that, select Scan <\/strong> tab (see below).<\/p>\n

Click on Update Asset Status <\/strong> button. Camera will start in scan mode. Scan the QR code fixed on the asset and the location automatically gets updated.<\/p>\n

Note: If you have a set of clear process stages that every asset goes through in its lifecycle, you can add those process states in the Admin tab. During status update, appropriate process stage will be selected from the drop-down menu. This way you can track current process state of every asset. <\/i><\/p>\n

View Location of an Asset<\/h2>\n

Go to Search\/Create <\/strong> tab. Search and select the asset.<\/p>\n

From the buttons, click Current Location <\/strong>. The App will show you location from the latest scan. If you have added location tags, it will display the location tag, current process state and a button View on Map <\/strong> to show you the location on the google Map.<\/p>\n

Click on the View on Map <\/strong> button to view the location on Google Map.<\/p>\n

With this you are ready to use the App for asset tracking. Share the pass key to bring other users and they too can start update assets from the App.
